Shreyas Caterers & Fast Food

You can find us over by Kandettu Garden in the Bikkernakatta area of Mangalore. It’s a nice enough spot, though we don't spend much time looking at the garden ourselves because we are usually stuck in the kitchen. Shreyas Caterers & Fast Food is a busy little place. We do the quick meals for people passing by and also handle the bigger catering jobs for local events. The air inside is usually thick with the smell of frying oil and whatever masala we are grinding that day. It gets loud with the sound of spatulas hitting the pans and the hum of the fridge. We have a few small tables, but most people are in a hurry. Mangalore can get incredibly humid, so the kitchen feels like a sauna most afternoons, but we just keep the fans blowing and keep moving. Our staff is mostly local folks who have been around food their whole lives. We don't have a fancy menu with big words; it's just the stuff we know how to cook well. We get our vegetables early in the morning and try to get everything prepped before the lunch rush hits. Bikkernakatta is a lively neighborhood, and we like being the place where people can grab a quick bite that tastes like it came from a home kitchen. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure nobody goes away hungry when they stop by Kandettu Garden.
