We are based in Kankanady, right here in Mangalore. If you’re in this part of Karnataka, you know the 575002 area is usually moving pretty fast. Our name is Employme, and that’s basically what we do—try to help people find something to do for a living. The office isn't anything special to look at. It has the usual chairs and a few printers that sometimes jam when we are in a hurry. We spend a lot of time looking over applications and talking to local businesses about who they need. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Mangalore is a good place to be because there are always new things opening up. We aren't some big corporate machine with robots answering the phone. It’s just us. We talk to people like they are our neighbors because, most of the time, they are. Sometimes people come in feeling a bit stressed about finding work, and we just try to be a calm spot for them to figure things out. We don't use fancy words or make big promises we can't keep. It’s just about looking at what’s available and seeing if it fits. Being in Kankanady makes it convenient for folks to reach us. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay. It’s just honest work, day in and day out, helping folks get a foot in the door somewhere. We don't need fancy slogans to do our job.
