St.Xavier High School

Our school is in the 42 Area of Cuttack. It’s a well-known spot around here. The building at St.Xavier High School has been part of the neighborhood for a long time. You can see the main gate from the end of the street. Every morning, there’s a rush of students in their uniforms coming through. The classrooms are fairly large with high ceilings, which helps with the heat. We have these old-fashioned wooden desks that are quite sturdy. The staff room is a bit cluttered with stacks of corrected assignments and textbooks. We have a playground that is mostly dirt, but the kids don't mind when they’re playing football or cricket. The 753001 pincode area is where most of our students live. We have a small library where the books are neatly arranged on metal racks. The office has a few old computers, but we still do a lot of things the old way. It’s a familiar routine for everyone. The bells mark the start and end of everything. When it rains, the sound on the roof is so loud that we have to talk a bit louder in class. It’s just a local school doing its thing day after day. We try to keep the place tidy and the students focused on their work. Most of the teachers have been here for years, so we all know each other.
