Municipal Girls High School

Municipal Girls High School sits right in Thoria Sahi. It’s in the Manglabag area of Cuttack, which is a pretty old and busy part of the city. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows it a little. It has character, though. Girls come from all over the local neighborhood to attend classes. Being a municipal school, we serve the community directly. This isn't a fancy private place. It is a school for everyone. The 753001 area is always humming with activity. Shops and homes are all packed in together. Our school is a big part of that daily rhythm. Teachers have been here for decades in some cases. They’ve seen generations of girls pass through these halls. It’s a lot of work keeping up with all the students, especially during the busy morning hours. Extra money for decorations or big displays isn't something we have. We just keep the classrooms clean and the books ready. Sometimes the rain causes a bit of trouble with the old roof, but we manage. People in Cuttack are used to making things work. Polished speeches and corporate slogans aren't used here. We just show up, teach the girls, and try to make sure they have a fair shot at a good future. It’s just a plain, honest school in a busy city. Not everything is perfect, but we do what we can with what we have here every day.
