A. P. Steel

We’ve been running A. P. Steel out of Chaauniganj for quite a while now. You can find us right on the Main Road in Naya Bazaar, which is pretty easy to spot if you know where the Omp Bus Stand is in Cuttack. It’s a busy spot but we like being right here where the action is. Dealing with steel isn't always the cleanest job but it’s what we do day in and day out. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with stock, but we manage. My family started this because there was a need for it in the village and post office area. People around here usually just drop by when they need something specific for their building projects or repairs. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a straightforward place where we handle the metal and make sure it gets to where it needs to go. Being near the bus stand helps since folks coming from further out in District Cuttack can find us without getting lost. We keep our own hours mostly, but usually, someone is around during the day. It’s just how things work here. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady shop that people can rely on when they are passing through Naya Bazaar. If you’re coming down the Main Road, you’ll see our sign. It's nothing special, just a honest place doing honest work with steel every day. We are here to stay and hope to keep seeing familiar faces from the village.
