Sri Maruthi Enterprises

Pandi Bazaar is where we are based. Our shop is at 17/178. If you know the bazaar, you know it is always crowded and loud with people shouting and horns honking. We like it that way, though. There is always something happening outside the front door. We deal in various goods, acting as a general enterprise for the local community here at Sri Maruthi Enterprises. The space inside is packed with stock from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for in the back, but we usually get there. We open up early and stay late most days because that is when the customers are around. It is a family-run kind of feel here. We do not have a human resources department or a marketing team. We just talk to the people who walk in off the street. The bazaar has its own rhythm and we have been part of it for a long time. Some of our neighbors have been here as long as we have. We do not use fancy technology much, just the basics to keep track of the money and the orders. It is a simple way of doing business, based on being here every day and knowing the faces of the people who buy from us.
