Shiva International Exports

Shiva International Exports is located at No. 8 Kattiakaran Street in Tirupapuliyur. We are quite close to the Padaleesuuarar Temple, which is a very busy spot. On festival days, the whole street gets packed with people and you can hear the bells and the music from the temple quite clearly from our desks. It’s a lively place to work. The building we are in is quite old and has that specific smell of old stone and paper. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working together for a few years now. We handle the international side of things, so we are often dealing with different time zones and late-night messages. Kattiakaran Street is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We usually just park our bikes nearby and walk the rest of the way. Inside, the office is filled with stacks of documents and some samples of the goods we send out. We don't bother with fancy decor. We just have what we need to get the job done. Sometimes we share a meal together in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the shopkeepers next door and the people who live upstairs. It feels like being part of a community rather than just a place of business.
