Universal Exim

Our place, Universal Exim, is at No. 60 Ramanujam Nagar in Thirupapuliyur. It’s a nice enough neighborhood. We’ve set up our office here to handle all the export and import tasks we have. It’s a quiet street for the most part, which is a relief from the busier parts of town. We spend a lot of time organizing logistics and making sure the containers are booked. Sometimes there are delays at the port that we can't control, but we try our best to keep things moving. The office is just a few rooms where we keep our computers and all the paperwork. We have a small table where we sit and have tea in the afternoons. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day I might be typing out an invoice and the next I’m checking on a truck. That’s just the way a local business like ours works. We don’t have any big corporate goals, we just want to do our job well and keep things going. Thirupapuliyur has a good feel to it. Having been here long enough, we feel like part of the neighborhood. We usually start the day by checking the overnight messages and then we just go from there. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy throughout the year. We don't really have a lot of visitors, but we're here if someone needs to drop by.
