Sapiyar Infotech is up in Koch Bihar, specifically near the Jorepatki area in Mathabhanga. The office is actually part of Sekendar Sarkar’s place. It is a quiet spot, and honestly, it is not like those big city offices at all. Being an OPC means it is a small operation here, mostly just a couple of us. We handle tech solutions but it is really just us and our computers in a small room. The air is much better out here than it is in the middle of Kolkata. Sometimes you can see cows walking past the window while we are busy coding. It is definitely not a fancy corporate office with glass walls or shiny floors. We have some basic furniture and a few old fans to keep us cool during the summer heat. Most of our day is spent fixing things or trying to get software to behave. We do not do a lot of talking, mostly just typing away. People in the neighborhood often ask what we actually do, and we just tell them we work on computers. It is hard to explain technical stuff to the locals sometimes. We like it here because it is home. The commute is basically non-existent for us. We start early in the morning and work until the light starts to fade. There is no big cafeteria, just whatever food we bring from our own kitchens. It is honest work and we do it.
