Chanchal Kumar Thakur

My name is Chanchal Kumar Thakur and I’ve been running things here in Dinhata for a good while now. We are located right in Godhuli Bazar, specifically Ward No.- 6, so most people around Cooch Behar know where to find us. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where we get our work done every day. I started this because I wanted to stay local and work in the community where I grew up. Living in West Bengal, you get used to the pace of life here. It’s busy during the market hours and then it slows down. People stop by to chat or ask about what we are doing, and that is just how business goes in a place like this. We don’t have a big team of people in suits. It is mostly just me and some help when needed. Sometimes the weather gets really hot or the rain makes it hard to move around, but we still open up and do what needs to be done. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. If you are walking through the bazar, you’ll see us near the other shops. It’s a simple setup. I handle the daily tasks myself. There isn’t much to say other than we are here and we work hard. If you know the area, finding Ward No.- 6 isn't too difficult. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time.
