Nirupam Bhunia

I am located in the village of Palasi, which falls under the Jahalda post office. If you're looking for me, you have to head towards Belda in the Paschim Midnapur district. It's a rural area, very quiet for the most part, except for the birds and the sounds of tractors in the distance. I’ve lived here my whole life and started this business right from my home area. It's not a big shop with a glass front or anything like that. It's more of a place where people know they can find me if they need something. The roads around here aren't the best, especially when the rains start, but we manage just fine. Most of my neighbors stop by during the day just to say hello or to pick up what they need. I don't really use much technology for my work, I prefer doing things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper. It keeps things simple and honest. Sometimes I spend the whole afternoon just sitting and watching the cows graze while waiting for a customer. It is a slow pace of life, but I wouldn't trade it for the noise of the city. Being part of the community in Jahalda is important to me, and I try to help out whenever I can. There isn't any fancy equipment here, just the basics that get the job done for the people in Palasi. It is enough for me.
