Zion Musicals School

Zion Musicals School is tucked away at 419, 6th Street Extension in Ganthipuram. We’re really close to Kalyan Sarees, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. It’s a busy neighborhood, but once you step inside our door, it’s all about the music. We have different rooms set up for various instruments. You might hear someone practicing the piano in one room and a guitar in another. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with everyone playing at once, but we've gotten used to the sound. We’ve been here in Ganthipuram for a while now. Most of our students are local kids or adults who just want to learn a new hobby for fun. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us teachers and the students. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We aren't trying to be the most famous music school; we just want people to enjoy playing their favorite songs. Sometimes the instruments need tuning or a string breaks, and we have to fix it on the spot. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We have old sheet music lying around and some instruments that have seen a lot of use over the years. People like coming here because it feels like a real place, not some polished, expensive studio. We just teach music the way we know how. It’s a good way to spend the day, surrounded by songs and people trying their best. It’s what we do here at 6th Street Extension.
