Onus Music School

If you walk down Ramanathapuram in Coimbatore, you will find us at No 62. Onus Music School is a place where there is almost always some kind of sound coming out of the windows. We have students of all ages coming in to try their hand at an instrument. Some are quite good and others are just starting out, making a few mistakes along the way. That is just how it goes with music. It can get a bit loud during the afternoons when the kids get out of their regular school. We try to keep things organized, but music is naturally a bit messy. The local area is pretty active, so we fit right in. We have been at this Coimbatore address for some time now. People around here know us for the noise and the instruments being carried back and forth. It is not a corporate setup at all. We just have rooms where people sit and play. Sometimes we have to remind the younger ones to stay focused. It’s a lot of repetition, but that is the only way to get the notes right. We are just a group of people who enjoy what we do and want to share that with the neighborhood. If you are near 641045, you have probably walked past us. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door. It feels like a real part of the street.
