Tniamp Pambar Farmer Producer Company Limited has its base at D/ No 1/267 in Kelavalli Village. We are located near Kambainallur in the Karimangalam area of Dharmapuri. The Pambar river is nearby, and that's where we get our name. Most of us who started this are just ordinary farmers who were tired of struggling on our own. We decided that if we gathered our resources, we might be able to buy seeds and equipment for a bit less. It’s not a fancy business at all. The office is just a room where we keep our registers and talk about the crops. We grow a variety of things depending on the season, and we try to coordinate so we aren't all trying to sell the same thing at the exact same time when the prices are low. Being in Morappur ( Dharmapuri, we have to deal with the dry spells quite often, so we talk a lot about water management. There are no fancy mission statements or slogans here. We just want to make enough to keep our families going and maybe improve the village a little bit. We take the produce from the members and see where it’s needed in the market. It’s a lot of back and forth, and sometimes things don't go as planned, but that’s just how farming is. We’re just a group of people from Kelavalli and around, working the land like our fathers did before us. It’s hard work but it’s what we do.
