Tniamp Arulmigu Ammaiappar Farmer

You can find us at No.2/N3 in Vasantham Nagar, which is right on Kambar Street in Polur Village. We are the Tniamp Arulmigu Ammaiappar Farmer group. Polur is a decent place to live and work, and the village atmosphere is something we actually enjoy. Being based in Vasantham Nagar means we see our neighbors every day. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We are just farmers who decided to come together and help each other out. Kambar Street is where the main activity happens for us most days. We spend a lot of time talking about the soil and the seeds and what the next season might bring. The post office in Polur Village & Post handles our mail, and we are usually there at least once a week to check things. Our office at No.2/N3 is pretty basic. It has what we need and nothing more. We don't see the point in spending money on fancy furniture when the work happens out in the fields anyway. People stop by to chat or to ask about the market prices. It is a community thing. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. Some days are long, especially when the sun is hot, but we just keep going. It is what we do. Polur Village and Post is our home and where we plan to stay. We just want to keep the farming tradition going for the people here for as long as we possibly can.
