G. J. Export & Import Pvt. Ltd. operates out of No. 5 Balaji Avenue in Thindal. It is a bit away from the main noise of the city, which is nice most of the time. We handle a lot of different goods coming in and going out. It keeps us on our toes because regulations change or a boat gets delayed somewhere. There are only a few of us here, so everybody ends up doing a bit of everything. One day I am checking invoices and the next I am helping load a truck because the driver is in a hurry. Thindal is a good spot for us. The office is small but we make it work. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually hear about us through word of mouth. It is just honest work, really. Sometimes the logistics get messy and we end up staying late to finish the paperwork. That is just the nature of export and import, I guess. We have a couple of desks, a printer that jams occasionally, and plenty of coffee to get through the mornings. It is not a glamorous job, but it feels good to see a shipment finally clear the port. We just try to stay organized and keep moving forward. If you are ever near Balaji Avenue, that is where we are. It is just a normal office where we do our business every day.
