Our office for Dev Exports Imports is situated near the BSNL office at Peruntholuvu Post in Tiruppur. If you know Tiruppur, you know it’s a place where things are always moving, and we’re right in the middle of it. We spend our days mostly on the telephone or typing out emails to various transport companies. The office itself is quite simple, just a room with some desks and piles of documents scattered around. We have containers and crates coming and going, so there’s always a bit of a mess to clear up. Most of us have been doing this for a while, so we’re used to the long wait times and the sudden rushes when a shipment finally arrives. We usually have our lunch together in the small area out back, where it’s a bit quieter. It’s a practical business, and we don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. We’re more concerned with whether the shipments are on time and if the paperwork is correct. Tiruppur can be a very busy place, so being near the BSNL office makes it a bit easier for people to find us. We just keep our heads down and deal with the logistics of moving goods from one place to another. It’s a lot of manual tracking and staying on top of the details. It can be a bit tiring, but it’s the work we know and we just get on with it.
