TEXTRADE

Textrade is up on the second floor at 124-E, Narayana Guru Road. Saibaba Colony is a decent area with plenty of shops nearby, so there is always something going on outside our windows. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we’re carrying boxes up and down. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and samples of fabrics tucked into corners. It’s not a showroom, just a place where we handle the business side of things. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet while we work. The team here is small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s answering the door or filing papers. We don't have fancy brochures or a big sign outside. Most people find us because they already know where we are. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the side of the building, but we have some fans that do the trick. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the routine hasn't changed much. We check the mail, talk to the suppliers, and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We like the neighborhood because it feels like a community, and being on Narayana Guru Road makes it easy for folks to drop by.
