Phoenix Imports & Exports is located right on Perur Main Road, specifically at 57 Vairavan Nagar. If you know Telungupalayam Pirivu, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and local traffic passing through this part of town. Our gate is usually open from the morning as we try to get a head start on the day's tasks. There’s always someone around to check the inventory coming in or going out. It gets pretty dusty out here because of all the vehicles on the main road, but we don't mind it much. We deal with both imports and exports, so there’s a lot of back and forth with different people and different types of goods. Sometimes it feels like we’re just moving boxes from one side of the room to the other, but every box has a place to go. We keep a ledger on the desk to write everything down because it’s easier than relying on the computer all the time. The tea shop just down the road is where we usually take our breaks and talk about whatever is happening. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to get through the daily list of things to do without any major problems. Being in Vairavan Nagar makes it easy for the drivers to find us, which is a big help when things are running behind schedule.
