Star Impex

We are based at number 174 on Eswaran Koil Street in the Fort area. It’s a historic part of town and it’s always buzzing with people and activity. Our building is an older one, but it has plenty of character and enough room for our operations. We run Star Impex from here, focusing on the import and export trade. It is a crowded street, so getting large shipments in and out takes some real coordination and a bit of patience. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate slogans. We just show up and handle the logistics of moving goods. The office is usually piled high with files and sample products. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The nearby temple means there is often music or bells in the background while we work. We have built up our reputation just by being here every day and doing what we say we will do. Most of our customers are people we have known for years. We are not looking to become some massive global giant. We just like running our shop in the Fort and keeping things simple. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes the heat in these old streets is a bit much, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
