Sta Engineering

Sta Engineering is located at Plot No.-6A on Uzhaipalar Street in Vellakinar. We are quite easy to find because we are very close to the Vellalar City Hospital. Our shop is a bit small, but we have managed to fit all our lathes and milling machines inside. We do a lot of general engineering work, which means we are usually making parts or fixing broken pieces of machinery. It is a dusty environment with the smell of cutting oil always in the air. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. There is just a small table where we keep the blueprints and our lunch boxes. The street outside can get pretty busy with people going to the hospital, so it’s never really quiet here. We have a small crew of people who really know their way around a machine shop. We don't use any marketing talk or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a local engineering spot where people bring their problems and we try to find a way to fix them using the tools we have. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought it would, and we end up staying late into the night. We've been part of the Vellakinar area for quite some time and most of our neighbors know us by name. It is just a practical, hands-on business and we like the challenge of working with metal every day.
