Structural Engineering Research Center

We spend most of our days here at the Structural Engineering Research Center over in Bharathi Nagar. It is a quiet enough spot in Krishnagiri. People usually find us at 4/211 when they need someone to look at how things are built or if they want to understand the way materials hold up under pressure. We have been in Tamil Nadu for a while now. The office is usually full of papers and drawings. It is not some fancy corporate place with glass walls. It feels more like a workshop where people actually think about how to keep buildings standing. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the work, but that is just how it goes here. We deal with a lot of data and testing. If you walk past the place, you might see us huddled around a desk arguing about some small detail in a report. We do not do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself through the results. It is steady work, nothing too flashy. We just try to get the numbers right so things are safe. Living and working in Krishnagiri has its own pace, which we like. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up after a long afternoon of staring at structural models. It is just a group of us trying to figure out how to make structures better through research. We have been here for many years and know the area well.
