Sri Sai Sakthi Textiles

Down at 457, Pannimadai Road in Thudiyalur, things stay pretty busy with the textile work. Sri Sai Sakthi Textiles is where we spend our mornings and late evenings. You can hear the hum of the machines from the street sometimes. It is a lot of thread and fabric everywhere you look. The floor is usually covered in little bits of fluff by the end of the shift. We try to keep things organized but when you're moving a lot of material around, it gets messy. Thudiyalur is a decent place to work, though the traffic on Pannimadai Road can be a pain during the school hours. We have been at this location for a good bit now. Most of us live nearby so we just walk or take a scooter in. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a place where we get the weaving and processing done. We don't have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. It's mostly just work tables and stacks of finished goods waiting to go out. Sometimes the air gets a bit thick with the smell of the cloth and the oil from the looms. We usually have the radio playing in the background to help the day go by faster. It is steady work and it keeps us occupied. We know most of the other shop owners on this road too. Just a regular textile unit doing its thing.
