Sri Dhanusri Engineering

Our workshop is tucked away in the S.N.V.S. Compound at 109 Kongu Main Road. If you know Tirupur, you know how busy this stretch gets with all the trucks and bikes. At Sri Dhanusri Engineering, we spend most of our days working on different metal parts and fixing up machinery that people bring in. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there’s always the smell of oil and welding in the air. It’s a noisy place, but that’s how a real machine shop should be. We have a few lathes and some old drills that have been running for years. They still do the job better than some of the newer stuff. Most of our work comes from local factories that need something replaced or repaired quickly so they don’t lose time. We don’t really do much advertising; people just know we’re here in the compound. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but usually, we’re kept busy from morning until late. It's not a clean office job, it's greasy and loud. My hands are rarely clean by the end of the day. We take care of whatever walks through the door, whether it’s a small welding job or something bigger. Just head down Kongu Main Road and look for the compound entrance. We'll be there working on whatever comes in next.
