Our workshop is located over at 11 Saravana Nagar, right on the Tvs Nagar Road. It’s not a fancy place by any means. You’ll find it easily enough once you get past the Velandipalayam Post office area. The floor is usually covered in some bit of metal scrap or oil because that is just the nature of what happens here. We have a few machines running most of the day, so it stays pretty loud. Sometimes you have to shout a bit just to be heard over the hum of the motors. My brother and a couple of local guys handle the heavy lifting while I take care of the orders and the phone calls. The shed gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the metal roof. We usually take a break around four o'clock to grab some snacks from the small stall down the road. It’s a messy job, and our hands are rarely clean, but we like the work. We keep a lot of our supplies stacked in the back corner, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we need. It is a humble setup, but it works for us. We aren't trying to be some giant factory; we just want to get the orders finished and sent out on time. Most of our neighbors are other small units, so they understand the noise and the dust. It is just a regular part of the day for us.
