S.M. Industries

At S.M. Industries, we are tucked away at No.-9 in Seevalapuri Amman Nagar. It’s just off Nallampalayam Road in Sanganoor. The area has changed a lot since we first set up here, but our building stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit of a trek down the road to get to us, but it’s a good spot for what we do. Inside, there’s usually a lot of activity with people moving materials back and forth. We have a small yard where the trucks pull in, though it’s a tight squeeze if they’re carrying a big load. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the floors have seen better days, but that doesn’t bother us much as long as the machines are humming along. We keep our tools organized in our own way, even if it looks messy to someone walking in for the first time. The weather in Sanganoor can be quite humid, so we usually have the big fans blowing all day to keep the air moving. We’ve got a couple of guys who live nearby and walk to work, which is nice. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are ready to go out. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name and the address. It’s just a place where we put in our hours and try to do things right.
