Shako Flexipack is located at No. 65/1 on Athipalayam Road. We are based in the Chinnavedampatti area, which is near Ganapathy. It is a bit of a drive out from the main city center of Coimbatore, but it is a good, quiet spot for the kind of work we do. The road leading out here can get a little bit bumpy and dusty, especially after the heavy rains. Our building is basically a large shed-like structure where we keep all our rolls of packaging materials. It is mostly wide-open space inside to make enough room for the machines and our stock. We do not have a fancy front office or a waiting room for guests. When you walk through the door, you are pretty much standing right in the middle of our main workspace. There is usually a lot of noise coming from the machines, so it is not exactly the quietest place to have a conversation. We have a small wooden table set up in the corner where we handle all the billing and the paperwork. The roof is made of metal sheets, so it gets quite loud whenever it starts to rain. We have a small crew of local guys who handle all the loading and unloading of the trucks. It is hard manual work, but we keep things moving as best as we can. The neighborhood is mostly other small factories and warehouses. It has a very industrial vibe. We just focus on our work and getting the packs sent out.
