Service Engineer

I am the son of R. Arulanthu. We are based in Avudaippoigai, which is in the O. Siruvayal post area near Karaikkudi. This is in the Sivagangai district of Tamilnadu. My job is being a service engineer. I handle a lot of technical repairs for people in this region. It isn't a big company with a lot of people. It is just me doing the hands-on work. I travel through the via Karaikkudi route often to reach different clients. My workspace at home is where I keep all the heavy tools and the spare parts I’ve collected over the years. I don’t have a polished business plan or anything like that. I just fix things when they break. I’ve always been good with my hands and enjoyed figuring out how things operate. Living in a place like Sivagangai means you have to be resourceful. Sometimes you can't find the exact part you need, so you have to find another way to make it work. I try to be fair and do a good job so people will call me back next time. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the noise of the machines. I like being out and about instead of sitting in an office all day. My family has been here a long time, and I plan to keep working here as long as there are things to fix and machines to mend.
