Sd Engineering & Contracting

We are located at number 2/14 on Palani Andavar Street in Ettimadai. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time. We do engineering and contracting work from here. It’s a small operation, just a few of us working together. Most of our work involves fabrication or fixing structural things for people in the area. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. Our space is filled with welding machines, scrap metal, and tools we've used for years. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we know where everything is. Being in Ettimadai is nice because it’s not as chaotic as the bigger cities. We know our neighbors and they know what we do. If a job comes in, we talk about how to get it done and then we just start. We don't use many big words or complicated plans unless we really have to. It’s more about using our hands and making sure the metal is straight and the welds are solid. Sometimes we have to go out to a site for the contracting side of the business, so the shop might be closed for a few hours. We just put a note on the door. It’s a simple way of doing things. We’ve been at this address for a while and we don't plan on moving. It’s our little corner where we get things built and repaired. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep up with all the tasks we have.
