Samhida Enterprises

Samhida Enterprises is located right across from Venkateswara Matric School in Gandhipuram. It’s funny with the address because some people still use the Old No. 2, but the gate says New No. 8. It can get a bit confusing for delivery drivers when they first arrive at Doctor'S Colony. The road, Dr. Radhakrishnan Road (E), is usually packed with parents picking up kids in the afternoon, so we mostly hear the school bells and the chatter from the street. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside. It’s a simple space where we keep our files and handle the daily tasks. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood for a long time because everyone knows each other. Usually, one of us is sitting near the front window watching the traffic go by while the fans hum overhead. It gets quite warm in the summers here, but the breeze from the school field helps a bit. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just a couple of chairs and a water cooler that makes a loud glugging noise. People stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask for directions because we are such a visible landmark near the school. We just keep our heads down and get the day's work finished. It’s a steady kind of life here in Gandhipuram, and we wouldn't change much about it.
