Ogha Commodities Trading Llp is tucked away in Saibaba Colony, right on the 4th Cross of Bharathi Park. It’s a pretty nice part of town, a bit quieter than the main roads. We deal in various commodities, which basically means we spend our day looking at market prices and talking to people who want to buy or sell stuff. It’s a small office, nothing too loud or flashy. We started this because we knew the trading business well and wanted to have our own setup. Most of the day is spent on the computer or the phone. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers, but we stay busy enough with our regular contacts. The neighborhood is good for us. We can grab a tea nearby and then get back to work. Trading can be a bit stressful when the markets are jumping around, but we’ve learned to take it as it comes. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. It's just a small team of us here. We keep our records in order and try to stay ahead of the paperwork. There’s not much more to it than that. We just focus on the trades and making sure the numbers add up. It is mostly about being patient and waiting for the right time to move. We like the quiet rhythm of this office. When the markets close, we just lock up and head home like everyone else.
