Green India Exports

Down here at Green India Exports, we spend most of our time at No. 29 on Palghat Road. It’s a good location in Kuniyamuthur because it’s easy for the trucks to find us. We’ve been operating from this building for some time now. It’s a practical space, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but it works for what we need. Most of the morning is spent checking on shipments and making sure the crates are ready to go. We deal with a lot of logistics stuff which can get a bit messy with all the tracking numbers and schedules. The traffic on Palghat Road is usually quite heavy, so we have to plan our pickups carefully. It’s just a few of us working here in the office and the back area. We don’t go in for fancy titles or corporate stuff. If the floor needs sweeping, one of us does it. If a customer has a question about a delivery to another country, we look it up in the big ledger we keep. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. It can get noisy with the horns honking outside, but once you’re inside the warehouse part, it’s a bit quieter. We just try to get the day's tasks finished before the sun goes down. It is straightforward work and we like it that way.
