S. M. Emu Agri Farms

We are located near the Ayyappa Kovil in Pollachi, specifically at No. 4/ 1 Palaniammal Layout within Venkatsa Colony. Most people just call us S. M. Emu Agri Farms. We spend our days dealing with the birds and the land. It’s a specific kind of farming, and it keeps us on our toes. Emus aren't like chickens; they have their own personalities and can be a handful. The farm is our main focus, so we’re usually out in the pens or checking the feed. It’s a lot of outdoor work, rain or shine. Pollachi is a good place for this kind of thing, and being near the temple makes us easy to find. We aren't a big corporation with fancy brochures. We're just a local family and a couple of helpers making a living from the farm. The layout can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just part of the life we chose. We don't have much time for office work, though we have to do it to keep the books straight. Mostly, we’re just concerned with the health of the animals and how they are doing. It’s a quiet life for the most part, punctuated by the sounds of the farm. We just do our best every day and hope for a decent season.
