Sri Venkatachalapathy Exporters

Sri Venkatachalapathy Exporters is located at 98/ A Regal Building. We are up on the 3rd floor on West Bashyakaralu Street. It is one of those old buildings where you have to climb the stairs and you can hear the street noise all the way up. Our office is usually filled with samples and shipping documents scattered on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and trying to figure out shipping schedules. It can get pretty stressful when a shipment is delayed or the paperwork isn't matching up perfectly. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy carpets and receptionists. It’s just a few of us sitting around desks making sure things move from one place to another. The West Bashyakaralu Street area is always busy with traders and shoppers, so there is never a quiet moment. We started this because we knew a bit about how to get local goods to other places. It’s mostly about building relationships and being honest with people about what we can do. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and look over the ledgers. Other days we are running around trying to meet a deadline before the shipping office closes. It’s a bit of a jumble but we like the pace of it. Being in the Regal Building feels like being part of the old city's heart, even with the dust and the heat.
