We’ve got our little office set up at 84/34 on 2nd Street in West Bharathi Colony. Peelamedu is a nice area, and we’ve lived and worked around here long enough to know the shortcuts and the quiet spots. It’s not a shiny corporate building, just a regular place where we keep our files and meet with people. Often, we are out of the office more than we are in it because clients want to see houses or bits of land at odd hours. We don't mind. The paperwork can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but it’s part of the job. We try to keep things simple for everyone. When someone comes to us, they usually just want to know if a place is worth the price or if the neighborhood is going to get noisy at night. We give them the straight talk. There’s no point in dressing things up. We handle a mix of things, from small rentals to bigger plots, and it keeps the days interesting. Sometimes the neighbors drop in for a chat even if they aren't looking for a house. That’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep the registers updated and make sure we have the right keys for the right doors. It’s a steady kind of life, working with property and meeting different families every week. We just do our bit and hope people find what they need.
