Our shop, R S E D M Tools, is over on 21, Kobaswamy Kovil Street. If you know the Ganapathy Bus Stand, we are pretty close to that area. It’s also near the Venugopala Swamy Kovil, which is a big help when people are trying to give directions or find us for the first time. We’ve been set up here for a good bit, handling different types of tool work. The street gets quite crowded with the bus stand nearby, but it keeps things lively. It’s a basic shop, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of tools and the machines we use to keep everything running for our customers. We don’t really do the whole corporate image thing here. It’s just us, the tools, and the people who come in needing something fixed or made. Some days it's just one person working the front while the rest are in the back. It’s a bit dusty, as you’d expect from a place dealing with metal and tools, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Ganapathy, just a reliable one where you can get what you need without a lot of fuss. The heat gets to us sometimes in the afternoons, but the fans keep the air moving enough to work. People stop by on their way from the bus stand often. We like being part of the local neighborhood and having the temple nearby.
