Prime Tekh Machine Works

Our workshop is at 28-A on Mahalakshmi Koil Street in Masakalipalayam. It’s a small machine works where we do a lot of turning and milling. The street is a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you’re driving down. Inside, the shop is full of the sound of machines and the smell of cutting oil. It’s a hands-on place where we spend our time making parts and fixing machinery. We’ve got some old lathes that have seen a lot of use, but they still get the job done right. We don't have a big office or a fancy website. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. It’s just a few of us working here, and we like it that way. We wear work clothes that are usually stained with oil, and we don't worry about it much. There is a lot of concentration involved in what we do, so it’s usually pretty quiet except for the hum of the motors. We have a small area where we keep our tools, and we try to keep it organized, though it doesn't always stay that way. Masakalipalayam is a busy little area, and we’ve been part of it for some time. We just focus on the pieces of metal in front of us and try to do a good job. It’s simple, practical work that keeps us busy every day.
