We are located at T.S.No. 586/2 on Marapettai Street, right near Udumalai Road in Pollachi. It’s a busy spot with lots of people coming and going. Pollachi Poorna Producer Company Limited is a group of local growers. We deal with whatever is coming off the farms in this part of Coimbatore. The office is right in the middle of things, so it gets quite a bit of noise from the street. We aren't some big company with a lot of money. We are just a collection of farmers who wanted to have a bit more say in how our produce is sold. We spend a lot of time talking about the market and the harvest. Some days are good and some are pretty rough when the prices drop. We don't have a slick way of doing things. Our office is a bit cluttered with samples and paperwork. It’s just a practical place to work. People stop by all the time to ask about the latest news or just to have a tea. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. We know the struggles of trying to grow things when the water is low. It’s not an easy life, but it’s what we do. We just keep working away at it, making sure we get the best we can for the hard work we put in.
