Pearl Packaging

You can find Pearl Packaging over at No.652/1 in the Sir Cv Raman Industrial Area. We are right near Rathinam College, which makes it easy for people to find the turn-off near Eachanari Post. Our daily routine involves a lot of cardboard, tape, and plastic wraps. It is a physical job and our hands are usually a bit rough from handling the materials. The warehouse is a big open space that gets quite drafty in the winter, but it gives us room to stack the boxes. We don't have fancy office chairs or a break room with a TV. We just sit on some crates when we have our lunch. Our team is made up of local folks who live nearby. We don't use a lot of fancy technology; we just use the cutters and the presses that we have always used. Sometimes the college students wander near our gate by mistake, but mostly it is just trucks coming in to pick up bundles of packaging. We don't have a mission statement or a logo that cost a lot of money. We just make the boxes and the rolls that other companies use for their products. It is the kind of work that nobody notices until they run out of tape or boxes. We stay busy and we don't spend time worrying about how the business looks on paper. It is just a packaging unit and we are fine with that.
