We’ve been here at Annamalai Garden for quite some time now, just across from the old Vasudeva Mill and the gas company on Mtp Road. It’s a busy spot with all the trucks going by. Mostly, our days involve getting dusty and moving heavy things around. The work here is making cement articles right on the lot. It’s not fancy, but it fills the day. Sometimes people stop by just because they’re passing the gas company and see our stacks of concrete items sitting out. Dealing with the rain and the sun is just part of the job. The yard gets messy when we are busy pouring molds. There’s always bags of cement sitting around and the sound of someone mixing something. We started out small and stayed that way, really. Most of the people who come here are just locals or builders who need a few things for a job nearby. A big office or a front desk isn't something we have. If you come by, you’ll probably find us out back with the gravel and the molds. It’s hard work on the back, especially when the weather gets hot in the afternoons. Making sure the pieces are set right before they go out takes time. That is just how things go around here. You might have seen us while sitting in traffic on Mtp Road. Our routine is pretty set. It isn't much to look at, but the cement gets poured and ready for whenever someone needs it for their project. This is just a regular life here.
