Padma Textile Engineers

Padma Textile Engineers is located over at No 110 in Bharathi Nagar 1St Cross. It’s a quiet enough street in the Ganapathy area. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time. Inside, there is usually the sound of machinery and people talking over the noise. We deal with various textile parts and fixing things up. It’s mostly technical work that requires a bit of patience. The shop floor isn't always the cleanest, but we know where everything is. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in greasy overalls or checking some blueprints. We don't really do the whole corporate office thing. It’s more about getting the engineering right. Sometimes parts arrive late or a machine acts up, and that’s just how it goes. We handle the repairs and the maintenance work as it comes. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing the same things. It’s a lot of manual labor and checking measurements. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. We don’t have a fancy lobby for visitors. If someone needs us, they usually just walk into the main area and find one of us. It’s straightforward work. We focus on the machines and making sure they run like they’re supposed to. That takes up most of our hours during the week.
