This is Unity Textile Engineers Private Limited. You can find us at Site No-18 in Srinivasanagar, which is part of the Sakthi Nagar Extension in Chinnavedampatti. Being in Tamil Nadu, especially around here, textiles are a big part of life. We are mostly engineers who spend our time looking at machines and figuring out how to make them run better for the mills. Our workshop isn't overly large but it has what we need. We started this because we saw a need for local engineering support. It is not always easy work, as machines break down at the worst times, but we manage. People around here know where to find us. We don't spend much time on fancy offices or logos. Most of our days are spent with grease on our hands or looking at technical drawings. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the afternoon, but the fans keep us going. We’ve got a small crew and we all know each other’s families. It feels more like a community than a big corporation. We just want to make sure the textile units around here keep running. If someone has a part that needs fixing, they usually drop by. We take a look and get to it. It’s simple work that keeps us busy from morning till evening. We often have to travel to different mills, so the office isn't always full. When we are all here, it's a lively place with talk about gears and motors. We don't have a big corporate structure. Everyone just chips in where they can. If a machine is down, we don't worry about the clock.
