You can find us at 28B on Ramachandra Street in Rc Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads, but it still has its moments of being hectic. The office is just a regular building where we’ve set up shop to handle our daily business. We’ve lived and worked around here for years, so we know the local area pretty well. The space inside is mostly taken up by desks and chairs for whoever is coming by. We don’t go for anything fancy. It’s just a plain room where we keep track of things. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, but that’s just life in Rc Nagar. We have a routine that we follow every morning, starting with opening the shutters and getting the fans going. It’s a small operation. We handle most things ourselves without a lot of extra help. People from the neighborhood often stop in just to say hello or ask a quick question about something on the street. We’ve got some old posters on the walls and a lot of notebooks filled with scribbles. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine, but it’s where we feel at home. We just do our work, talk to the folks who come in, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life at Kumar Associates.
