Omnamo Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Kalmadu, specifically at Gat No. 46, which is where Rakesh Pandurang Sonavane is located. It’s a quiet spot, and we like it that way because it keeps us close to the actual farms. Being a farmer producer company means we spend most of our time thinking about crops and how to help the people growing them. We aren't some distant group in a big city; we are right here in the middle of it all in Kalmadu. The work isn't always clean or organized, but it’s real. We handle whatever comes our way, from seeds to the final harvest. Dealing with nature is unpredictable, so our days never really look the same. Sometimes we’re out in the fields, other times we’re sitting at the desk at Gat No. 46 trying to make sense of the books. It’s a group effort with the local farmers, and everyone chips in where they can. We don't have a fancy logo or a big sign outside. Most people just know us by name and where we sit. It’s about making sure the work gets done and the produce gets sold fairly. We’ve faced our fair share of challenges with the soil and the rain, but that’s just part of living and working in Kalmadu.
