NORTON INDUSTRIES

Down in Ondipudur, on Irugur Road, you will see our sign for NORTON INDUSTRIES at number 109. It is a very straightforward setup we have here. We do not have a big corporate office with air conditioning, just the main factory floor where everything happens. We make industrial components for various trades. It is heavy work and the guys are usually covered in some kind of shop grime or oil by noon. Coimbatore is known for this kind of industrial stuff, and we are just one small part of that old tradition. We have some older machines that still work perfectly and a few newer ones we are still getting the hang of using. The road outside can get pretty busy with big lorries, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We do not spend much money on fancy decorations for the walls. They could probably use a new coat of paint, but we would rather spend that time finishing a customer order. We get our raw materials delivered, we process them, and then we ship the finished parts out. It is a cycle that repeats every single day. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch if the deadline is tight. We do not complain much; it is just how this industry works. Just come to the gate and ask for us.
