Kani Import & Export

Navalpattu is where you’ll find us, specifically at No. 2/34 on South Street. Tiruchirappalli has its own pace, and out here, it’s a bit more relaxed than the city center. We run Kani Import & Export right out of this building. It’s an old-school street where people still stop to talk to each other. We’ve got the front room set up for most of the work, and the back is where the heavier stuff stays. Most mornings start with opening up the big doors and letting the air in before it gets too hot. There is a lot of back and forth with the trucks and the local guys who help us move things. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded when a delivery comes in, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We don't have any big fancy meetings here; it’s mostly just us on the phone or checking the lists. The walls are a bit plain, maybe they could use a coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. It’s a real place where work actually happens, not just a show. We’ve been on South Street for long enough that the postman doesn’t even look at the house number anymore. It’s just where we are and what we do, every single day from morning until the sun sets over the town. There is always plenty to keep us busy here.
