Nammaazhvar Coconut Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our place is at 179, Main Road, over in Nadayanur Post. It's in the Manmangalam T.K. area near Karur. We call ourselves Nammaazhvar Coconut Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s a bit of a long name, I know. We mostly deal with coconuts because that’s what grows around here in this part of Tamil Nadu. The address says Chennai-639117 but we are really rooted in the Karur area. Most of the people working here are just local farmers who have trees. We get together at the office on Main Road to figure things out. It isn't a big glass building or anything. Just a regular room with some chairs where we can sit and talk. Dealing with coconuts is hard work, especially when the rains don’t come. We try to help each other out with the harvests. You can find us easily if you are driving down the road in Nadayanur. There’s always someone stopping by to chat about the market or the pests. We didn't start this to become some big company. It was more about surviving as small farmers. Manmangalam has been our home for a long time. We know the soil here and what it needs. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we learn as we go. It’s just how life is in the village. If you’re passing through 179, Main Road, you’ll see us working. We are just local people trying to keep the coconut farming alive. It’s honest work for us.
