Our office is located at 53 Karuppa Gounder Street in Coimbatore. It’s right in the heart of the city where everything happens. We are Nagaraj & Suriyanarayanan & Co. We’ve been here in Tamil Nadu for a long time. The street is always crowded with people and scooters, especially in the mornings. Our building is one of those old ones with narrow stairs. Inside, it smells like old paper and coffee. We have stacks of files everywhere because we handle a lot of accounts and paperwork. It’s not the most modern looking place, but we know where everything is. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. We don't really do any advertising. People in Coimbatore usually find us through their friends or family. We spend our time checking numbers and making sure the records are right. It’s a lot of sitting and focused work. Sometimes we go out for a break to the local stall nearby. We don't have any big mission statements. We just show up every day and do the work that needs doing. It’s a steady life. The address is easy to remember once you’ve been here once or twice. We have a few junior clerks who help with the filing, but the main work is handled by the seniors. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except for the noise from the street below.
