Monmira Food Private Limited is based in the Sri Ranga Complex at No. 90-C 5, right on Metupalayam Road. Being on such a major road means we’re always around the hustle and bustle. We work with different types of food products, mainly focusing on getting things processed and out to the shops. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of the time we’re in our aprons or work gear, making sure the hygiene and quality are where they should be. We don't have a big fancy office with carpets. It's mostly tiled floors that are easy to clean and plenty of storage space. We started this because we wanted to provide good food items without all the expensive branding that you see in the big stores. We’re just a group of people who enjoy working with food. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves, which keeps things interesting. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a list of things that need to be done that day. Metupalayam Road is always busy, so we get a lot of people dropping in to see what we’re making. We keep it simple and stay focused on the quality of the food. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on our feet, but we wouldn't have it any other way. It feels good to see our products on the shelves of local shops after a long day.
