We are Mezhi 10K Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our home base is at 2/92A on the Main Road in Etchangudi. Thanjavur is the wider area, and our pin code is 613204. This is a real farming region. We are a producer company, which basically means a bunch of farmers joined up to work together. We set ourselves up on the main road so it is easy for everyone to find us when they come into town. It is not a fancy setup. We have some basic desks and enough chairs for when people visit. The building is quite simple and does not stand out much. Thanjavur is famous for its agriculture, so it makes total sense that we are located here. We spend a lot of time talking with people from the surrounding fields. The 10K in our name is a big number, but we just take things one day at a time. Rain or shine, the work has to happen. Sometimes the road outside gets very noisy with all the tractors and buses going by. That is just life in Etchangudi. We are not trying to act like some huge corporation. We are just local people trying to keep things moving. If you drive past, you will see our name on the wall. It is nothing too special but we are proud of it. Most of our time goes into coordinating the crops and talking to the members. It is practical work and we like it that way.
